From the kitchen of Diane Bolles:
Combine these:
- 1 Cup Butter, softened (Diane actually used shortening, but I prefer the taste of butter in a cooking)
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
Add:
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1-1/3 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Blend in:
- 2 Cups Rolled Oats
- 6 Ounce package of Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 Cup Butterscotch Chips
Drop by large spoonfuls onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake at 350 for 11-12 minutes for soft cookies; 13-15 minutes for crispy. (I prefer 12 minutes.)
Makes 3 Dozen Cookies.
